BounceBud Physics Based MIDI 1.7

BounceBud is a physics-based, generative MIDI sequencer. The application features customizable keyboards on each side that trigger MIDI notes upon collision with a ball.

Users can adjust the ball count, speed, and size using the knob controls on the main screen. In the settings menu, options include setting the key/scale, velocity range, octave range, MIDI channel settings, and individual note specifications per keyboard. All keyboards share the same key/scale which can be altered using BrainBud.

Each keyboard boasts its independent MIDI output, allowing simultaneous playback with different audio applications while providing the option to disable unused keyboard sides. With MIDI input, users can generate "shoot walls" from the keyboards, enabling ball interaction and introducing randomness into the generative sequence. Keyboards can be controlled by assigning unique MIDI input channels in the settings menu.

Toggle options in the settings menu allow customization of ball collision behaviors, varying sequences with each obstruction encounter. Ball and size variety can be adjusted within the ball settings section for randomized size and speed values. Additionally, users have the flexibility to alter the ball color theme through the settings menu.

BounceBud functions solely as a MIDI app and does not produce audio independently. Users must route BounceBud's MIDI outs to their audio app's MIDI input. The AUv3 plugin app requires an AUv3 host app such as AUM, Loopy Pro, Logic Pro, Cubasis, Nanostudio, apeMatrix, etc.
